The Final Fantasy Post (Incomplete)

PROTIP: The information I use in this post are from Wikipedia and the Square-Enix website.

In 1987, the first Final Fantasy was released for the Famicom, or NES in North America. For its time, this game added features that every RPG made afterwards implemented into their games. Fast forward 21 years and 28 confirmed games later, the series still has an impact. Whether you find the series to be over hyped(which most do) or find thrill in each game released, you have to agree on one thing. Square-Enix knows what they are doing. Sales alone could prove that.

Only a few of the games are direct sequels from another one. Final Fantasy VII(or Final Fantasy 7) is one that has received many, including: Final Fantasy: Advent Children(the movie sequel), Final Fantasy: Last Order(the anime movie), Final Fantasy Dirge of Cerberus, Final Fantasy: Before Crisis, and Final Fantasy: Crisis Core. In fact, due to a tech demo released by Square-Enix, there are rumors of a PS3 remake for the game that most heralded as the best RPG to exist. But the first direct sequel was, in fact, Final Fantasy X-2. It was the first to feature the same characters from the game that came before it. It also was the first one to feature an all girl party. The Final Fantasy Tactic's world of Ivalice is the setting for five games: Final Fantasy Tactics(PS1), Final Fantasy Tactics Advance(GBA), Final Fantasy XII(PS2), Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings(DS), and the PSP remake of Final Fantasy Tactics.

With each game's release, a lot of things were either improved on or changed completely. The graphics went from being sprites to complete 3D computer rendered models. The battle systems changed from game to game. But the overall plot was the same: Save the world. Magic was commonplace and the availability of transportation was the same.

*Will finish later.*
